Influence of Gully Land Consolidation on Phreatic Water Transformation in the Loess Hilly and Gully Region

Gully Land Consolidation (GLC) is a proven method to create farmlands and increase crop yields in the Loess Hilly Region, China. However, GLC influences phreatic water transformation might cause disasters, such as salinization swamping. For exploring influence of on mitigating series indoor experiments were conducted artificial rainfall hall. Then, we simulated patterns under more conditions with HYDRUS-3D. Finally, an engineering demonstration field was performed validate our research. The indicated that could outflow rate 4.39 times coefficient (PWC) 2.86 considerable delay. After calibration validation experimental data, HYDRUS-3D used simulate soil thickness intensities. Accordingly, summarized relationship among PWC, intensities, thickness, therefore suggested blind ditch system alleviate disasters. Field application showed avoid disasters 3.2 compared loess. Our research provides implications for sustainable land uses management region thick covers.
